How does MAP 5 for Horses work?

MAP 5 contains a sterile sodium hyaluronate cryopreservative, which acts as a replacement for serum and serum products in cell handling and freezing solution. It also helps reduce the risk of contaminating microorganisms that might contaminate serum product.

MAP 5 requires a prescription from your veterinarian. It is available in a 5 mg/ml 10 ml vial. Each vial contains sodium hyaluronate 50 mg, sodium chloride USP 85 mg, sodium phosphate monobasic dihydrate 0.5 mg, sodium phosphate bibasic dodecahydrate 6 mg, and water for injection.
